TEAR VESSEL
The Tear Vessel was created by forming cork clay into the desired shape, then allowing it to dry completely.  PMC  in paste form was applied to the cork clay with a paintbrush, building up several layers of paste, then allowing each layer to dry. Embellishments were added with a PMC syringe and clay shapes. The cork clay will burn out at 800 degrees in the kiln, leaving a hollow form. Selected sections of the vessel were burnished for highlights and contrast.

TEAR VESSEL COLLECTION
This is a collection of  Tear Vessels, with the smallest ones on the bracelet being the most difficult to construct. The tiny handles and embellishments will stimulate the interest of artists who work in miniature.  You can imagine the endless shapes and hollow forms made possible with the use of cork clay and PMC paste.

DICHROIC GLASS PENDANT
This  organic shape was made with a fused dichroic glass cabochon and PMC Plus. The coils of clay created a safety circle around the glass. Care was taken in firing and cooling down the pendant to protect the glass. The piece was dipped in liver of sulfur to give it an aged organic patina.  snakependant.jpg (24853 bytes)
RAINBOW GODDESS
This enameled face was so much fun to create. The basic image was stamped onto the clay, then details were created by applying PMC with a syringe. After the piece was fired and polished, the leaded enamels were applied.
MAYAN TEMPLE

This pendant has syringe work and lab grown gemstones.

ASSORTED PMC

This is an assortment of my early PMC work.  Many of these pieces were made with standard PMC.  The beads in the lower left hand corner were made by applying PMC to fruit loops cereal!

ORIGAMI PENDANT

Origami paper was folded to the desired shape, then covered with PMC paste.  The Cubic CZ and syringe work were added for detail.

ENAMELED POD PENDANT

This pendant contains sixteen different shades of enamel.  The enamels were carefully packed leaving a silver border around each individual cell.

PMC RINGS
Rings are fun to create using PMC!  Stones can be set in rings by either using the syringe or using a traditional bezel setting approach.

LEAF AND CLOVER
I simply applied PMC paste to the backside of the leaf and clover.  Several applications of paste are necessary.  The organic material will burn away during the firing, leaving the beautiful image of the leaf..  The two examples shown were dipped in liver of sulfur for an organic look.

FOLD-OVER PENDANT WITH 24K GOLD
This fold-over pendant contains PMC gold on the leaf and a gold cubic CZ for detail.

PORCELAIN PENDANT
The porcelain pieces were taken form a broken antique plate.  The four individual pieces were reassembled using the PMC between each porcelain fragment.  A border of PMC holds the entire piece together.

FILIGREE GINKGO LEAF
This pendant was created by drawing the design onto paper, then tracing over the design with the PMC syringe, many times.  This is one of my favorite pieces because the detail looks like a piece of filigree.

PRIMITIVE ACORN GODDESS
I was playing with clay one day and made a mold of some acorns from my yard.  The acorn ring and pendant were the result of my playtime.

CONTEMPORARY CROSS
This cross was created from PMC sheets.  The sheets were shaped and held in place using PMC paste.  The large cubic CZ in the center was added using the PMC syringe.
